After participant signs and returns the
non-disclosure
and hold harmless agreement and payment is received, an e-mail is sent to
the participant with the access codes to each video/audio streamed file.
All online materials are video/audio
streamed to your computer (there are no Powerpoint Files that are available for
downloading). Participant will have
access to e-mail questions from Dr. Arcoria during the pre-exam time period,
with Dr. Arcoria responding to all questions in a timely manner.
There are five sections to the review
materials (the clock hours listed on the web site, are designed for those
individuals who are receiving Continuing Dental Education credit):

Content should be viewed in the
following manner:

Study the first four sections in the above order
2.
Ask questions by e-mail regarding any content question or National Board
Exam release
3.
Take Mock Board Drill – obtain a minimum score of 85
4.
Take Mock Board Exam – obtain a minimum score of 85
The participant has access for 1 year
after purchase to the online materials, or until they pass the exam. The participant will acknowledge and attest
that the information provided in this Board Review will not guarantee a result
(i.e., passing grade) on the National Dental Board, Part 1 Examination. All electronic materials and communications
between Dr. Arcoria and a participant will be for information purposes only in
assisting a participant with study development for their specific examination
date.
CE credit is obtained
through an Approved PACE Program
Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education
programs of this program provider are accepted by AGD for Fellowship,
Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply
acceptance by a state of provincial board of dentistry or AGD endorsement.
The current term of approval extends from 8/1/2018 to 7/31/2022. Provider ID#

Dr. Charles J. Arcoria was previously an Associate Professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences at Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M Health Science Center, until he retired from the institution on March 31, 2014. He is a 1978 graduate of Case Western Reserve University (BA degree and Phi Beta Kappa honorary society), a 1980 graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry (DDS degree) and a 1992 graduate of the University of Dallas (MBA degree and Sigma Iota Epsilon honorary society). He has been a faculty member since 1984, teaching and directing Dental Anatomy & Occlusion, and Clinical Operative Dentistry. He won the Teacher-of-the-year award in 1988 and 2012. In addition, he teaches Dental Anatomy and Occlusion at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, and Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health as an adjunct Professor. From 2000 to 2011, he administered the Continuing Education and Alumni Department at the College, restoring the programs to financial and institutional viability. He now is the webmaster for the Online Institute for Continuing Dental Education, assisting the entity in providing high-quality continuing education programs in Dental Anatomy, Occlusion and Anatomical Waxing. Recently, he and his wife, Bunny Vitasek-Arcoria, opened a dental extraction clinic for the homeless in south Dallas, in partnership with LakePointe Church and Cornerstone Baptist Church. They serve as liaisons for the all-volunteer extraction clinic. Dr. Arcoria is an Enrolled Agent (achieving this status on February 4, 2016) and can practice before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). |
